Teling
Financial Inc.(TFI) holds the individual's right to privacy in
the highest regard. In order to provide our products and services we
do collect and use some personal information supplied by our clients.
The following provisions are applied to former clients as well as our
current clients. The following describes how we deal with such information
entrusted to us.
Personal Information
Whether you manage a live or a demo
automated trading account, TFI receives personal information about you.
This information includes but is not limited to: your contact details,
your account status, trading activity and performance. Some of this
information may be used to provide targeted information on offerings
from TFI to you and to inform you about latest products relevant to
your trading activities. TFI cooperates with partner companies (e.g.
FXCM) who may also receive personal information about TFI clients. Whenever
clients send information directly to such partners (e.g. when applying
for an account with FXCM) the partner’s privacy policy applies.
For information sent from clients directly to TFI, any TFI partner company
privy to such information is required to observe a privacy policy at
least as strict that of TFI and to not use this information to contact
TFI clients.
Personal information can be divided into three main parts:
- Application Information,
included on application form while applying for an account. This includes
your name, address, birth date, social security number, occupation,
assets, and income.
- Transaction Information contained of history of your transactions as well as your communications with TFI.
Such information includes your account balances, trading activity, your claims to Site Administration and our responses.
- Verification Information comprised of intelligence necessary to verify your identity according to requirements of the USA Patriot Act.
This may include personal data from your passport, driver license or any other documents accessible from public records or other legal entities, which are not TFI subsidiaries.
Security Arrangements
We strive to do our part in protecting
clients’ personal information once it has reached our servers
but take no responsibility for what happens to the information before
it reaches TFI domains. We do our best to ensure high-quality standards
in our systems and apply standard technologies such as SSL to secure
communications.
Use of Cookies
Cookies are used on our website to
enhance the user experience by for example enabling easy navigation.
This in effect provides a memory in the user’s computer that he
has visited TFI’s web site.
Legally Obliged Disclosure of Personal Information
In certain limited cases, TFI may be enforced
to disclose your personal information to third party when this action
is in compliance with applicable legislation (e.g., subpoenas or other
official requests, or when it is necessary to protect our rights or
property). Still, TFI cannot use personal information unless it is clear
to the user how such information can be used or until we receive user's
approval for it.
Refusal to Supply of Personal Information
At any moment, you can deny TFI your
personal information. This decision may seriously restrict our capability
to open or maintain your account or to supply you with specific products
or services of your interest.
